Dried bean curd sticks, also known as yuba, is a traditional bean made food and a common food raw material in Chinese and Asian areas. It has a strong bean flavor and a unique taste that other bean products do not have.
After the soybean milk is heated and boiled, a thin film is formed on the surface after a period of heat preservation. After being picked out, it hangs down into the shape of branches and then is dried. Its shape is similar to bamboo branches, so it is called bean curd sticks.
Bean curd sticks is a product of a certain structure composed of soybean protein membrane and fat. Bean curd stick is yellow and white in color, with bright oil and rich protein and various nutrients. Soak it in water (cool in summer and warm in winter) for 3-5 hours and it will blossom.
